Speaking at Sweflex’s packaging seminar, FTA Europe’s President Sante Conselvan spoke on how the changing EU regulatory environment will impact flexo printers. He advised on the ways in which the industry can respond in order to remain competitive.

FTA Europe attended LabelExpo Europe 2019, which took place in Brussels between 24 and 27 September. The Expo perfectly demonstrated this rapidly developing market – at the heart of which is the flexo printing industry.

As flexo machines remain a top choice for label producers, LabelExpo is a key opportunity in the year for the Board and Secretariat of FTA Europe to connect with the innovative people in our sector.

FTA Europe is pleased to announce that five companies have already committed to sponsoring the 2021 Diamond Awards for flexographic printers.

I&C-Gama Group, CAMIS, Vetaphone, Miraclon and Windmöller & Hölscher have committed to sponsoring the next edition of the FTA Europe Diamond Awards. Having generously sponsored the hugely successful 2018 awards ceremony, the five companies have confirmed that they will each be Gold Sponsors of the 2021 event.

The FTA Europe Flexo Best Practice Toolbox is an innovative guide to flexographic printing, helping printers achieve a predictable result on the press every time. FTA Europe, which represents the common interests of the European flexo industry, identified the need for a go-to document for printers and created the Toolbox as part of the association’s work on training and education.

This project is a core area of the association’s activities – the broader purpose of which is to advance the interests of the flexo industry by representing and acting as the voice of the flexo industry across Europe and the EU institutions in Brussels.
