Impressive figures marked the Italian FlexoDay 2018, which year after year sets new records in attendance and expectations and which, with no less than 480 participants, once again proved to be the event of reference for the flexographic printing sector in Italy. Numerous delegates attended also from outside of Italy, making the international presence felt especially at the afternoon session organized by the Italian Technical Flexographic Association (ATIF) in partnership with FTA Europe. The Packaging Conference brought together more than 100 delegates from the European packaging value chain, in Brussels, Belgium, on 21 February 2019 to shape the future of the packaging sector. This event was co-organised by Intergraf, Smithers Pira and FTA Europe. Photos from the event can be viewed in the Gallery. Additional networking activities ran from 20-22 February. The event was held at the Hotel Metropole in Brussels. This conference focused on the growing European printed packaging sector, with particular attention paid to market trends and consumer perspectives. Speakers addressed various sectoral developments, as well as different technologies, materials and sub-sectors. Participants received a complementary market report: European Printed Packaging Market Report. This report was prepared exclusively by Smithers Pira for the Packaging Conference 2019.
